Elizabeth was born at Papunya in 1949, her father's country being Karrinyarra [Central Mt Wedge] north west of Papunya. Elizabeth is the mother of Tangentyere Artist Rhonda Napanangka, and she and Rhonda now live together in Alice Springs. Elizabeth has painted for a long time selling to the tourists, as she learned to paint from her cousin Clifford.
